Gwyn Ashton (UK based Aussie)

From the rainforests and gold mining towns of Australia`s outback to the USA, Europe, and the UK, Gwyn Ashton is taking his high energy blues-rock on the road and is one of the best exponents of that style today.

He plays slide, acoustic, electric and lapsteel guitars, harmonica and a stompbox for that good ol` back beat.

He has been invited onstage with Mick Fleetwood, Canned Heat and Hubert Sumlin and has played festivals and clubs with BB King, Buddy Guy, Johnny Winter, Rory Gallagher, Ray Charles, Junior Wells, Vanilla Fudge. Gwyn is also a member of 'Band of Friends' which celebrates the music of the late Rory Gallagher with Rory's original members from the 70s and 80s.
