2010 Finalists and WinnersWinners of the 'Chain' Awards, named after iconic Australia blues Chain, were announced on Thursday 11th February 2010 as part of the annual Australian Blues Music Festival in Goulburn. The Awards show was held at the Goulburn Workers Club (auditorium) with performances from multiple Chain Award winner Kate Meehan, along with Brisbane's Jimi Beavis & The 385s and one man band Kim Churchill. Respected guitarist/vocalist, Ray Beadle cleaned up with no less than three Chain Awards - Song of the Year, Album of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year. Fellow Sydneysider, Ali Penney and her band The Money Makers took away the Chain for Duo or Group of the Year and Brisbane's Cath Butler was present on the night to accept her Chain Awards for Best New Talent and Female Vocalist of the Year. Based on recorded product, the awards are adjudicated by a panel of judges drawn from across the country. The winners and finalists for 2010 are:
